Premier League Darts Newcastle 2026: Matches, schedule, tickets, odds and predictions as Luke Littler faces Gian van Veen

Premier League Darts is back for a new season on Thursday, live on Your Site, with Newcastle hosting the opening night of the 2026 schedule.

Eight of the world's best dart players go head-to-head over 17 nights of action, with tournaments held every Thursday from February 5 to May 28 at venues across the UK and Europe.

World champion Luke Littler and defending Premier League champion Luke Humphries headline the eight-player line-up, with world youth champion Gian van Veen and fellow Dutchman Michael van Gerwen the other automatic qualifiers.

Welsh duo Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton also feature, with Stephen Bunting - bottom in last year's Premier League - and debutant Josh Rock the other wildcard selections to complete the line-up.

Each Premier League night - since 2022 - has become a mini tournament where the eight players compete in four quarter-finals, with the winners progressing to the semi-finals and then a nightly final.

The opening night sees Littler take on Van Veen - in a repeat of the World Darts Championship final, with Clayton or Rock awaiting the winner, while Humphries plays fellow former world champion Price and Van Gerwen goes up against Bunting.
